TEA friends
Tea friends are very important. Sharing time with people over a cup of tea can take many forms and be in many places. Wan Ling Tea House and its staff are keen that these sites aren't just about selling tea, but how tea is appreciated in its many ways.
Our tea friends section is here to support local groups, our hobbies and individual people with whom we can have a cup of tea.
Shillingstone Station Project
A dedicated local, and some not so local, group of people set up this project to save, rebuild and develop the run down remains of a small Dorset village train station. The redevelopment is not just about the station but also bringing a community together, to create a place for people to learn and enjoy a wonderful part of the world.
Wan Ling Tea House was proud to support this project through donation of a tea urn. The tea urn will not only be a great revenue source for the tea but also a vital tool in keeping the team busy at work providing regular refreshment!
Please take a moment to visit The Shillingstone Station Project website.
Tom Gregory - www.ovo.co.uk
Old friend and long time fellow tea drinker Tom has been on the frontline in the development of Wan Ling Tea House. As the original creator of the Wan Ling Tea House website, Tom's work, input and honest creative judgement has ensured that the sites have grown from a simple set of pages to advertise the Shanghai tea shop to an ever growing tea information resource and now online tea shop. Tom and James have spend hours huddled over computers with tea in hand. It is safe to say that with out tea and Tom you wouldn't be looking at this now.
Tom has worked in the design industry for over ten years working in both print and online media. Please visit www.ovo.co.uk to see more of his work.
